IRON MAN 1 And 2 In 3D? Rumor Has It...

Jim here. According to a rumor over at AICN, the powers at be are considering 2D to 3D conversions of IRON MAN 1 and 2. This isn't exactly groundbreaking news here as the CFO of Marvel , Ken West hinted that 3D was certainly being considered for their properties as MarketSaw reported back in May.

But the first time Iron Man was hinted at being in 3D was back in September 2008.

Still, if true - it is simply awesome news. G-FORCE was an awesome conversion, but to snag a property like IRON MAN into the 2D to 3D conversion stable is quite a feather in the proverbial cap. Lets hope it happens! Guillermo del Toro hinted that some major properties were being converted: "Perhaps so- Jim has been right in the past and he may be right in the future. He is dead-on about the imminent conversion of film into an expanding 3-D field - at least in most blockbusters and I know of, at least, 4 or 5 major filmmakers preparing 3D films right now".

Bring. It. On. Marvel.
